Polish by birth, Madeleine Hunt is now married and settled in Britain. In her early years, she was active in Poland’s Solidarity movement; a non-violent civil resistance movement challenging the governing communist régime. It was during this time that Madeleine came to recognise and understand the words, texts and procedures that formed both the visible and hidden doctrines of communism.
Later, in her new life, Hunt was shocked to detect that very same communist language and procedure at work within the United Kingdom's local authorities. This idea may well stun some people who feel sure that they live safe and sound in a wonderful British democracy.
