An aspirant comic from an early age, the scales fell from Alistair Williams' eyes when he realised that the mainstream comedy agenda is tightly controlled, and it was not a line he would toe. Alistair explains how laughter can be weaponised to effect behavioural change and how a comprehensive process of cancellation has affected his career. In finding a strong Christian faith, he has weathered the storm, broken the shackles of censorship, and found a means by which he can bring joy in a world increasingly bereft of beauty.
In 2023, Alistair won the British Comedian of the Year award at the Comedy Store, an achievement made possible by the scoring process, which only counted votes from the audience.
