Tax Resistance and a Declaration of Sovereignty—with Chris Coverdale

Paying taxes to a government which will spend it on illegal wars is to break the law, Chris Coverdale explains to Charles Malet. During more than two decades of tax resistance, Chris has been sent to prison three times, highlighting the enormous corruption infesting the legal system. Citing the provisions of the UN Charter, the International Criminal Court Act 2001 (and the International Criminal Court (Scotland) Act 2001) and the Terrorism Act 2000, among other articles of legislation, he explains the method by which he calls upon the British Government to cease engaging in hostile actions involving armed forces.
